Paul came to Roots from Rio Grande Valley FC where he made ten appearances during the 2020 season. Paul is a Palo Alto native, which makes him another player with local ties. Having played in several different leagues both domestically and internationally throughout his career, he brings a wealth of experience to the team. Blanchette began the 2021 season on the bench before taking over as the full time goal keeper midway through the season. Blanchette made 23 appearances in the regular season as well as two more in the playoffs both of which were shutouts. In 2022, Blanchette made 20 starts, earning Player of the Week once and Save of the Week twice.
