Nane’s extensive professional experience began with Toronto FC in 2010 when he was drafted 53rd overall in the MLS SuperDraft. The Cameroon born, Nane made 10 appearances in Toronto helping the team lift the Canadian Championship. At the end of the 2010 season, he was traded to Colorado Rapids where he spent the full 2011 and 2012 seasons.
In 2013, Nane signed with the New York Cosmos of the NASL. In that season playing alongside Marco Senna, the New York Cosmos won the 2013 NASL Championship with the duo dominating midfield. Nane continued with the Cosmos in 2014 before playing the 2015 season with San Antonio also in the NASL. Since 2016, Nane has been abroad, playing three seasons in Kazakhstan and the last two seasons in Cyprus, before joining Oakland.
With Oakland in 2021, Nane made seven appearances with six starts and also started both playoff games. In 2022, Nane made 25 appearances scoring once.
