
‘Oakland Summer Vibes Passport’ will feature; Chabot Space and Science Center, Children’s Fairyland, the Oakland Museum of California, Oakland Zoo, Oakland Roots and Soul Sports Club with support from Visit Oakland, Oaklandish and Vibemap.
Oakland, CA – Oakland community organizations create a Digital Oakland Passport with Vibemap and Visit Oakland to get locals and tourists alike out on The Town this summer. Participants will be incentivized to take advantage of the amazing experiences Oakland has to offer, with the chance to win unique prizes, The Oakland Summer Vibes Passport will include some of The Town’s most iconic attractions: Chabot Space and Science Center, Children’s Fairyland, the Oakland Museum of California, the Oakland Zoo, and Oakland Roots and Soul Sports Club.

The Oakland Summer Vibes Passport starts Friday, May 10th and runs through August 31st. To participate, users will download Vibemap to earn each of the 6 limited edition badges. To earn badges, users will collect points by checking in, adding vibes, adding tips and sharing special places associated with each attraction like the Flamingo Habitat at the Oakland Zoo, the Oakland Roots mural at the Oakland Airport, the Observatory Deck at the Chabot Space & Science Center, the Gallery of California Natural Sciences exhibit at the Oakland Museum or the Jolly Trolly ride at Fairyland.
The points you earn and badges you collect put you in the running for awesome prizes ranging from trading cards to gift cards, tote bags to jerseys with grand prizes including:
- A behind-the-scenes animal experience at the Oakland Zoo
- Field level seats to an Oakland Roots/Soul match
- Patron Level OMCA Membership
- 1-Year Family Level Membership at Chabot
