Oakland Roots get set to take on Sacramento Republic for the 9th time and 2nd time this season. Roots lost in the Open Cup just a month ago to Republic in a hard fought 1-0 loss. At this point the rivalry stands at two wins for Sacramento, one win for Oakland and five ties between the two rivals. Neither side has picked up a win in the other’s building to date.
