Oakland Roots Sports Club announces that it has agreed to a new multi-year partnership with Modelo. Modelo, the number one selling beer in California*, will be the exclusive Mexican import beer sponsor of Oakland Roots SC.
“We have loved our relationship with Modelo,” said Steven Powell, Chief Revenue Officer of Oakland Roots SC. “We are excited to have the mark of a fighter back for the 2023 season.”
Modelo will serve as the title partner of the August 19th home game vs. Colorado Springs Switchbacks, in addition to their branding being visible throughout the stadium and on Oakland Roots SC broadcasts.
“Modelo is thrilled to be continuing our partnership with Oakland Roots Sports Club as their exclusive Mexican import beer sponsor,” said Rene Ramos, Vice President, Field, Lifestyle & Experiential Marketing, Constellation Brands. “We know how much soccer fans enjoy a Modelo as they cheer on their team so we can’t wait to be there with them inside the stadium.”
