Oakland Roots will host open tryouts ahead of the team’s 2022 Season. There will be two tryout dates: December 12th and January 16th. These tryouts will take place at Merritt College in Oakland, California from 8 AM to 5 PM.
12/12: 8 AM-5 PM
1/16: 8 AM-5 PM
The tryout will be limited availability, so make sure to sign up early. The cost will be $75 per person to ensure attendance on the date registered.
Each player will receive a complementary Roots shirt and lunch. Plus, other local professional and top amateur clubs will be in attendance to scout.
IMPORTANT – All players must be fully-vaccinated against COVID-19. Please submit proof of vaccination upon arrival at the tryout via a vaccination card. On the day of the event, before entering the field, each participant must also complete a COVID-19 symptom check.
