We couldn’t be more excited to welcome you safely back to Laney for our historic home debut in the USL Championship on Saturday June 19th. It’s truly going to be a day to remember, with a festival of celebration, education and inspiration centering Black artists, activists, students and athletes to commemorate ‘Juneteenth’ before our first home derby match against Sacramento Republic.
California is on track to fully reopen its economy on June 15, which includes alleviating capacity limits and physical distancing requirements at outdoor venues. While we’re encouraged by the progress being made, the safety and comfort of our fans and community is our priority. That’s why we’ve decided that our first two home matches of our 2021 USL Championship season will be at two-thirds capacity, with some reduced game day experiences. We’ll also be requiring (and providing) masks for all ticket-holders aged 2 and older.
We’re also supporting the Alameda County Department of Health in encouraging everyone to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Vaccination is the most important and effective tool in ending the COVID-19 pandemic and protecting the most vulnerable members of our community, and every Californian aged 12 and above is now eligible to receive the vaccine.
Our partners at CityHealth and NativeHealth are here to help you and your family get vaccinated. Vaccination is FREE, and does not require proof of insurance, ID or proof of immigration status. All you need to do is register in advance using the links below:
