Ticketing, Timing and Entry
What time do gates open?
East 10th Entrance gates will open 1.5 hours before kick-off for Roots Members and 1 hour for all other fans. Entry to the stadium is closed after halftime.
How do I know how to get to my seat?
Branded seating areas such as the Mosaic, Squad, Deep Roots and Grove as well as directional signage to each seating area will be placed around the stadium to help guide you to your seat. Ushers will also be located in each seating location to also guide.
What is the bag policy?
Clear Bag Policy; one large clear bag – either a one-gallon Ziploc style bag or 14″ x 6″ x 14″ clear bag or a small clutch. Click here for our prohibited items list.
How will security work?
All guests will need to successfully pass through security on entering into Laney Football Stadium. Please review our prohibited items list of what you can and cannot bring into the stadium.
Ticketing process
All tickets can be accessed via a mobile phone. If you need any assistance accessing your tickets, email us at tickets@rootssc.com or visit the Ticket Solutions station on game day.
Is there any parking at the stadium?
On game days fans have access to the Laney College Student Parking Lot on East 8th St. across the street from the campus. Parking is free.
Do kids require a ticket?
Oakland Roots policy is that children ages 5 and under receive complimentary admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
Food, Beverages, and Merchandise
Where can we eat?
Fans may eat and drink while in the E-10 Pre-Game Function area (see stadium map) as well as at their seats.
What will be available for purchase?
Oakland Roots merchandise, food and beverage will be available for purchase during each home game.
Are water bottles allowed in stadium?
One manufacturer-sealed plastic water bottle and one empty plastic or metal water bottle per person is allowed in the stadium. No glass bottles are allowed in the stadium.
What kind of food will be available?
A variety of offerings will be available from our food partners. All items will be packaged for consumption in-seat. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available for purchase.
Can I pay with cash this season?
In an effort to maintain safety and reduce touch points across the stadium environment, each home game will be cashless. All merchandise, food and beverage purchases will be made electronically.
